Week 1 Paleo Challenge- Complete!
What a week! Great week eating- I stuck to the paleo plan and ate much more diverse than I did during last years challenge. Smoothies for breakfast, being able to make some items with almond flour and planning ahead made things much easier. I also realized that it's the nuts that give me a bad belly! yuk. So I cut those WAY back and saw a huge difference.I've been thinking all week about what I wanted to have as a cheat meal. I didn't want a whole cheat day, and I wanted to be sure I had something because I don't think it's wise to try and go 3 months trying to be perfect. Soooo.... I decided on a Krispy Kreme Cherry pie. It seemed super sweet but super yummy and worth the 420 (YEEEP) calories. I heated it up and it was amazing! Snort! About an hour later (and the rest of the night) I had a terrible belly ache. Not really worth it anymore.
As for workouts this week- I got to Crossfit 4 times. Felt good. Much better by the end of this week as I felt like I was getting my energy level up again. I have been SO tired this week, but today I did the Filthy Fifty and felt much more like myself.

50 Box Jumps (I was finally jumping!)
50 jumping pull ups
50 kettle bell swings
50 walking lunges stpes
50 knees to elbows
50 push presses
50 back extentions
50 wall ball shots
50 burpees
50 double unders jump rope
(took me something like 41:36)
So- back at it for week two of the Paleo Challenge 2010! Trying to do my best.... nobody is perfect. :)
