Things are going to change- that is their nature. One day you succeed, one day you fail; one day you are at the top, another day you are at the bottom. But something in you is always exactly the same, and that something is your reality.
The workouts and the blog have been therapeutic for me and I find myself looking forward to the next day and the next WOD! When you start really being able to focus on the positive - more positive comes your way and I've found myself less and less 'afraid' of what I don't know and more excited to see who I can really be!
Since I love my new tabata timer, I'm doing to be doing a Tabata workout today.
A great way to pick a Tabata workout exercises is to pick one from each of the following lists:
Upper Body Strength
- Pushups
- Pull-ups
- Muscle ups
- Dips
Lower Body Strength
- Back squats
- Front Squats
- Reverse lunges
- Step-ups
- Box jumps
Full-body Strength
Warmup with Olivia- her on the scooter, me running with the dog (as much as you can run with a dog that wants to stop and smell every 10 feet). Then 150 jump ropes, 10 sit ups, 10 pull ups, 10 air squats and joint mobility.
Then the Tabata workout...
Pull ups - max was 7
Air Squats - max was 19
Burpees -Max was 5
See you tomorrow .... CFC!
