it's my Tens Unit and you'll be hearing more about this later.
So here is the trek back to fitness after having a car wreck, bulged disks, being out of work for weeks on end and finally having an epidural steroid block and lots of therapy. Words I never thought I'd mutter: "Oh how I love my tens unit!".... "When will my disability check be here"... and of course the "I can settle this thing without a lawyer.".
You've witnessed the Paleo lock down. You've seen the '60 days in a home gym' and now I bring you the 'follow me along as I slowly work back up to being Crossfit Chick!'
I am now 10 weeks after the accident. I have been in therapy and am starting to feel better and am starting with very basic exercises using soup cans and a balance ball. In all fairness, I've been in therapy about 5 weeks now and am about to move to 2 pounds weights (woot woot!) but the exercises are the same and they are very simple. I've moved along from very strong pain killers to just Aleve and from being bed ridden for weeks to being upright!
Starting tomorrow, you can follow me along with a revised eating plan, supplementation plan, simple exercise regimen and quest for super health. Have an idea? Have you seen a post? Want me to check out a product? Post a comment below or if you must....email me at therapy@crossfitchick.com!
The truth of who I am is this and this is what I'm doing.
-CFC Forever!
